This album represents the perfect fusion of
KREATOR's aggressive thrash roots with a heavy dose of Melodic Death Metal and Classic Heavy Metal
(specifically Iron Maiden-esque harmonies). It is widely considered more melodic and
"epic" than its predecessor,
Hordes Of Chaos.
Produced by
Jens Bogren(known for his work with Opeth and Amon Amarth), the production is crystal clear, thundering, and highly polished, which polarized some old-school fans but helped cement the band's status as a global festival headliner.
The album features intricate guitar work by
Sami Yli-Sirniö, whose lead melodies contrast with
Mille Petrozza’s signature vitriolic barks. Tracks like the title track
