Motörhead - 1916/March ör Die 2CD

Motörhead - 1916/March ör Die 2CD

  • Motörhead - 1916 / March Ör Die (Double CD Box Set) (2009).  The only thing out there with more consistency than death and taxes is the almighty force known as Motörhead. Every album is designed to give you exactly what you want. True, they do vary slightly in some degree but you know just what you're getting time after time and dear god is it beautiful. This is a 2 album CD collection; one of the albums (1916) is still considered one of their bests by their vast fan base.

"1916" is Motörhead after a few years away from the studio but tracks such as "The One To Sing The Blues", "I'm So Bad (Baby I Don't Care)", "No Voices In The Sky", "Going To Brazil" are full of piss and vinegar and take no prisoners. Ironically, it's the ballad and title track "1916" that is the complete standout.  Not a single weak track in the collection here.

"March ör Die" is the tenth studio album by Motörhead, originally released on August 14th, 1992. It would be the band's second and final album with WTG Records.  The album features guest appearances by Ozzy Osbourne, Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash, and veteran drummer Tommy Aldridge (Ted Nugent, Thin Lizzy etc.)  A classic of the older material and one very deserving of adding to any die hard Motorörhead fan!
