The 2023 PICTURE DISC reissue of Glenn Danzig’s Who Killed Marilyn? is significant because it marks the first-ever official re-issue of this legendary 1981 solo single. Originally released while the Misfits were in a period of flux, the record has been a "holy grail" for collectors for over 40 years.
The PICTURE DISC features the iconic original cover art: a stylized, high-contrast image of Marilyn Monroe with the title in Danzig's signature font.
While the A-side retains the raw, lo-fi Punk charm of the Plan 9 original, the B-side remixes provide a much "thicker" sound—bringing the bass and drums forward in a way that aligns more with the Lucifuge-era DANZIG aesthetic.
