The Audacity Of Hype, this record features tracks recorded during the same fertile sessions, showcasing
Biafra’s first consistent, full-time band since the dissolution of the
Dead Kennedys.
The title is a satirical nod to the
"enhanced interrogation" techniques used during the War on Terror, a recurring theme in
Biafra's political commentary.
Musically, the
EP is a high-octane blend of
"spy-music-on-meth" (reminiscent of the
Dead Kennedys’ Surf-Punk influences) and Detroit-style Proto-Punk. --
