MOSS are, hands down, the most simultaneously loud, offensive and horrible-sounding 'Sludge' outfit to ever slither out of Dagon's grand oceans dragging a dead deep one by its fetid, gangrenous tail and the finest Doomed Death purveyors the UK has now that Ramesses are no more. This is their masterpiece.

The final track on this EP is the DISCHARGE cover of “Maimed and Slaughtered”, but it certainly doesn’t sound like the DISCHARGE version at all – MOSS have certainly twisted it into their own devastatingly inimitable style.

“Tombs Of The Blind Drugged” certainly serves as a great stop-gap release whilst everyone waits for their next full length. Dense and feverish, this is a great compilation of Doom extremity. -- Metal Blade Records – 3984-14749-2
