TOOL - Opiate² (Opiate Squared) is a special limited edition package, that includes a re-imagined and extended version of the TOOL classic track "Opiate". The song is presented here on a Blu-ray disc that features a ground breaking short film directed by Dominic Hailstone. Bonus features include insight and observation from special guests, and this Blu-ray disc comes in a special 46 page hardcover art book that includes behind the scenes and making of photos.
This new release (March 18th, 2022) celebrates the 30th anniversary of TOOL’s 1992 EP with a re-worked, extended version of the title track. The band also tapped visual artist Dominic Hailstone to work with guitarist Adam Jones on the band’s first video in 15 years: a 10-plus minute short film that is the centerpiece of this special Blu-ray edition.
