"goofy" SoCal Skate Punk.
Produced by the band's own guitarist
Warren Fitzgerald, the album features the high-speed, technical precision that
Nitro Records-era Punk was known for.
Look What I Almost Stepped In... arrived right at the peak of the "Pop-Punk" explosion, but THE VANDALS remained too weird and too fast for the mainstream. It serves as a bridge between the raw 80's Punk roots and the highly produced sound of the early 2000's.
