EYEHATEGOD (NOLA, USA) – A History Of Nomadic Behavior (sealed CD Digipak) (2021) Released by Century Media Records issued in a 4-panel Digipak w/clear plastic tray & 8-page booklet.

New Orleans’ EYEHATEGOD is the snarling, bilious sound of dead-end America. Since 1988, they’ve been a soundtrack for the troubled masses. Anyone familiar with EHG’s story knows this is survivor’s music, a sound unto itself where Sabbathian riffs are meted out with a caustic anger that goes beyond Punk.

Released in 2021, "A History Of Nomadic Behavior" is the 6th full-length studio album by the New Orleans Sludge legends, arriving after a seven-year hiatus marked by vocalist Mike IX Williams' life-saving liver transplant and relentless global touring.

This record presents a "cleaner" version of EYEHATEGOD. While the band’s signature filth remains, the production is more focused and legible. Williams’ vocals are pushed to the front of the mix, trading his usual cavernous shrieks for an embittered, street-level ranting that is more coherent than ever.

True to the title, the album captures the exhaustion and grit of life on the road. Jimmy Bower’s riffs lean heavily into a bluesy, "Sabbath-on-bad-drugs" swing, alternating between lurching dirges and sudden bursts of Hardcore Punk velocity.
Rather than the chaotic self-destruction found on 90's classics like Dopesick, this album feels more calculated. It replaces sheer abrasiveness with a rhythmic, "monolithic" heaviness that highlights the band's veteran chemistry.

EHG has laid the cracked foundation for their infamous and influential Sludgy mix of Black Sabbath meets Black Flag sound. -- Century Media – 19439837572
