CORONER (Switz) – Dissonance Theory (sealed LP copy) (2025) Released by Century Media on 180gram Black vinyl - issued w/double-sided printed insert w/lyrics, band image & thanks list.

The Swiss Masters Of Technical Thrash return after 32 years of studio silence!

Following the release of their highly experimental fifth album "Grin" in 1993 and their subsequent disbandment in 1996, Swiss Technical Metal pioneers CORONER left an unfillable void in the Progressive Thrash landscape. Though the band reunited in 2010 for selective festival appearances, a new studio album remained a distant dream. Original drummer Marky Edelmann departed in 2014, handing the sticks to Diego Rapacchietti.

Determined not to rush their legacy, core architect Tommy Vetterli (Guitars) and Ron Broder (Bass/Vocals) spent a painstaking decade writing, perfecting, and polishing new material. The result of this relentless dedication is "Dissonance Theory," the band's monumental 6th full-length studio album and their first fresh material in over three decades.

Brutal Precision. Relentless Clarity.  Spanning 10 complex tracks across 47 minutes, "Dissonance Theory" seamlessly bridges the gap between the surgical, mind-bending riffs of Mental Vortex and the dark, texturally rich atmospheres of Grin.

CORONER effortlessly compresses time, proving they haven't lost a step of their trademark "Thinking Man's Thrash."  The record delivers a masterclass in modern progressive groove and Technical Thrash.

It was recorded by Tommy Vetterli at New Sound Studios in Switzerland and mixed/mastered to perfection by the legendary Jens Bogren (Opeth, Kreator, Amon Amarth) at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden, ensuring a pristine, razor-sharp sonic punch.  --  Century Media – 19802944511
