FULL OF HELL (USA) & MERZBOW (Japan) - (sealed Double CD Digipak) (2014) Released by Profound Lore Records in a 6-panel Digipak with exclusive to CD, bonus disc "Sister Fawn", containing five noise/drone recordings, in a side pocket.

The collaborative studio album was originally released on November 24th, 2014 through Profound Lore Records. This CD version was also packaged with a five-song, 35-minute bonus disc titled "Sister Fawn" that was described as an "extension" of FULL OF HELL & MERZBOW.

Combining Noise and Metal is a worthwhile pursuit, giving groups the chance to synthesize Noise’s freer destruction with Metal’s more structured attack.

The track "High Fells" is, without a doubt, the highlight of the album. A slow, airy track that’s actually quite melodic. It’s the lightest fair of Swans meets the heaviest Boris riffs and it works exceedingly well.

MERZBOW even manages to fit a few notes in with his cacophonous Noise. You haven’t heard anything on any FULL OF HELL release that differentiates from their Metal assault until this track and you'll be amazed at just how successful this entire experiment is.
