The 2022 re-issue of INFESTER's "Darkness Unveiled," released through Nuclear Winter Records, is a definitive restoration of one of the most depraved artifacts in American Death Metal history. 
Originally released as a demo in 1992, this version breathes new life into the band’s claustrophobic and "deranged" sound.
This isn't standard Death Metal; it is a filth-ridden blend of USDM (think early Incantation or Rottrevore) and primitive Black/Death influences. It is characterized by ultra-low guttural vocals, churning "caveman" riffs, and a thick, suffocating atmosphere that feels genuinely dangerous.
All tracks were remastered by Dan Lowndes at Resonance Sound Studio. The goal was to "polish" the audio just enough to fix volume levels and clarity without stripping away the gritty, abrasive nature that makes the original demo a cult classic.
This re-issue is expanded to include two rare rehearsal tracks from 1993 ("Braded into Palsy" and "Vagina Troll"), providing a rawer look at the band's evolution before their legendary full-length, "To The Depths, In Degradation."  --  Nuclear Winter Records – NWR083
