LUMPUR (Indonesia) - Skema Pembalasan Sempurna (sealed CDEP copy) (2012) New Standard Elite - 2nd Pressing: issued in a standard jewel case w/clear tray & 6-page fold-out booklet - limited to 1,000 copies.

Hailing from the legendary Death Metal hotbed of Bandung, West Java, LUMPUR (Indonesian for "Mud") delivers a masterclass in Southeast Asian brutality with their 2011/2012 EP, Skema Pembalasan Sempurna ("Perfect Retaliation Scheme").

Following their 2003 debut, this release marked a significant evolution for the band. It’s a lean, 14-minute assault that solidified their place in the "American-style" Brutal Death Metal tradition—think high-speed blast beats, punishing grooves, and a complete absence of mercy.
LUMPUR is about surgical aggression. The production is sharp and punchy, allowing the "pingy" snare and rapid-fire double bass to drive the tracks forward with mechanical intensity.
Heavily influenced by the US scene (reminiscent of Suffocation or Deeds of Flesh), the guitar work by Putra Gayo is a flurry of technical palm-muted chugs and dissonant tremolo picking that feels both chaotic and controlled.
Andri Gila provides a relentless guttural performance. His delivery is deep and rhythmic, acting more like a percussive instrument that locks in with the drums to heighten the EP's "Slamming" moments. DO NOT MISS OUT!!
