MESHUGGAH (sweden) - obZen (used 2XLP copy) (2019) Nuclear Blast Re-issue pressed on Double 180gram Brown colored vinyl LPs (limited to only 700 copies worldwide) housed in a gatefold jacket.
This updated pressing features re-designed, revamped artwork created by renowned visual artist Keerych Luminokaya. This 2019 re-issue spreads the audio across four sides to minimize inner-groove distortion, providing superior dynamic range and punchy low-end response specifically tailored for vinyl playback.
"obZen" stands as a defining masterpiece of Modern Technical Metal, famous for refining the band's complex polymetric rhythms, heavy polyrhythms, and punishing, low-tuned eight-string guitar work.
Features fan-favorite tracks including "Lethargica," "Dancers To A Discordant System," and the Extreme Metal benchmark "Bleed"—celebrated for its relentlessly demanding bass-drum technique.
An essential centerpiece for collectors of Djent, Progressive Metal, and Heavy Music vinyl enthusiasts. -- Nuclear Blast – NB 4670, Nuclear Blast – 4670
