 Formed in the autumn of 1989, PANDEMONIUM emerged from the same burgeoning Polish Metal scene that spawned the likes of such greats as Kat, Vader, Imperator, Christ Agony, and Taranis. 
However, the sound that PANDEMONIUM adopted was unlike that of any active bands at the time in their home country. Instead, it bore a much greater resemblance to a few core Western European acts and also incorporated a bit of the sound pioneered by early US Death Metal bands. 
Originally released in 1992, Devilri is the seminal demo tape from these Polish underground legends. It is widely considered one of the most important recordings in the history of Polish Extreme Metal, helping to bridge the gap between early Thrash and the burgeoning Black/Death Metal scenes of Eastern Europe.  --  Nuclear War Now!
