"Gross-Out USA" is a classic LIVE ALBUM by the legendary British Punk band UK SUBS, capturing the raw, unpolished energy of their 1984 North American Tour. Released later that year (and in early 1985 in some regions), it serves as a "souvenir" of a specific era where the band was navigating the transition from the first wave of Punk into the harder-edged sound of the 80's.
The album was recorded at McGreevy's in Chicago during the spring of 1984. This was a pivotal time for the band: the original lineup had shifted, and frontman Charlie Harper had recruited a new crew to keep the SUBS' "A-Z" album series alive.
