AUGUST UNDERGROUND'S MORDUM - (used DVD copy) (2004/2006) Released by ToeTag Pictures.
Originally released direct-to-video in 2003 by the notorious boutique genre label ToeTag Pictures, AUGUST UNDERGROUND'S MORDUM stands as one of the most polarizing and controversial entry points in Extreme Horror history.
Co-conceived and written by splatter visionary Fred Vogel alongside his creative collaborative team, this sequel to 2001's August Underground takes the found-footage aesthetic to its absolute outer limits, engineered intentionally to mimic unvarnished, authentic home video tapes of escalating depravity.
The film sparked immediate global outrage and censorship efforts—most famously suffering outright bans and confiscation by Australian customs authorities for pushing well past acceptable bounds of decency—while simultaneously earning a devoted cult reputation as a raw, unforgiving character study of nihilistic deviance.
Hailed by Rue Morgue Magazine as "a malignant seething hatework", this release captures ToeTag Pictures' unrelenting masterpiece of underground shocks, securing its permanent fixture in Extreme Horror notoriety. NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!! WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
