For the 20th Anniversary of In Utero, the album’s producer Steve Albini revisited the original multi-track tapes and created a new stereo mix using modern equipment and 20 years of additional experience to provide fans with a new and updated album experience.  
The 2013 Mix edition was originally available as a Back To Black Friday Record Store Day exclusive on 2-LP's at 45rpm on 180-gram heavyweight Black gatefold vinyl.
